Business Simulation Training
The BEST (Business Expenses Savings Training) game is a product from the South African Institute for
Entrepreneurship. It is a tool that masquerades as a game. It simulates real market conditions and
business scenarios in the training room.
It consists of 4 days (± 08h00 till 14h00) and includes 4 modules all packed in a 10 day “experience”
trail of doing business.
Day one; Module 1: The basic business cycle, managing cash flow and basic record keeping.
Day two; Module 2: Understanding supply and demand, how to price products and sales techniques.
Wholesale and retail concepts. Advanced record-keeping.
10 Days of practicing what has been taught in class. Participants get a loan (that must be paid back),
and report with an income statement and the profits which they have made.
Day three; Module 3: Marketing, business planning, negotiation, how to build strong relationships.
Day four; Module 4: Production, expansion, diversification & specialization.
If participants attend all modules and give proof of the 10 day experience, they receive a Certificate of
the Institute for Entrepreneurship, completing the training.
Training dates: 6, 7 August ’18 and 21, 22 August ‘18
Cost per student: N$ 150.00
Minimum: 6 participants
Maximum: 12 participants
